Grupo ASSA and IDS Scheer Announce Significant Success for the ARIS Platform in 2006 for Latin American Partnership
(Feb 07, 2007)--Grupo ASSA, a consultant in Latin America, and IDS Scheer, provider of IT solutions said that the partnership has yielded significant success for the ARIS Platform in 2006 with major customer wins.
Through a joint venture in Brazil targeted to improve business processes in the paper, pulp & mills industries, new customer acquisitions included Arcelor do Brasil, Klabin and Bahia Pulp. In the South and Andean region, new customers included Banco de Guayaquil in Ecuador, Banco Crédito Inversiones and IANSA in Chile, and Amcor, Quilmes and Telecom in Argentina among others.
Grupo ASSA clients in Latin America showed increased demand for ARIS-based solutions to address Process-oriented SAP implementation projects, Operational Risk Management (Basel II), Compliance (SOX),
Enterprise Architecture.
Expanding its focus on Business Process Management (BPM), Grupo ASSA has been chosen by SAP as its BPM Partner in Latin America for SAP’s ESOA Business Process Platform to leverage the capabilities offered by ARIS and SAP and create flexible and reusable business solutions.
