Quadrant Announce “Basel II – Try it, Prove it, Install it” Initiative For Rapid Basel II Implementation

(May 15, 2007)-- Quadrant Risk Management (International) announced a new innovative approach for organizations requiring a low risk, rapid implementation for Basel II. “Basel II – Try It, Prove It, Install” uses Quadrants” B2 or SAB2 risk calculation and Basel II reporting engines for achieving Basel II compliance. The new service is available on the HP Integrity Non-Stop server.

Quadrant has announced an innovative initiative to enable Financial Service Providers to achieve Basel II compliance using either the Standardized Approach or Advanced Approaches. “Basel II - Try it, Prove it, Install it” is a unique facility where Financial Service Providers can load their credit, market and operational risk data into Quadrants’ risk data warehouse, produce the Basel II compliance reports and check the results. They can then proceed quickly to a full implementation using either the Basel II Standardized Approach or Advanced Approaches for a Line of Business or across the enterprise.

“Basel II – Try it, Prove it, Install it” uses Quadrants’ B2, Basel II Advanced Approach, and SAB2, Basel II Standardized Approach solutions. It includes all the data loading utilities, data models, capital calculators and reporting to perform Basel II reporting for a limited number of asset classes of your choice. It is available on an HP Integrity Non-Stop NS1000 platform.
