Oracle Fusion GRC Intelligence New Release Centralizes Risk and Compliance Information Across the Enterprise

(Nov 13, 2007)-- Oracle announced the latest version of Oracle Fusion Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Intelligence. This release delivers expanded risk and compliance diagnostics that enable business process owners, compliance officers and risk managers to better understand the effectiveness of GRC programs across the enterprise with powerful analytics based on an open and comprehensive GRC platform.

(Nov 13, 2007)-- The latest release of Oracle Fusion GRC Intelligence combines qualitative and quantitative information from both Oracle and non-Oracle systems, and presents this information in integrated dashboards and reports, allowing executives and managers to confidently identify and focus efforts on key risk and control issues. Oracle Fusion GRC Intelligence acts as a risk integration hub to help organizations overcome the challenges of fragmented information and respond to risk in a coordinated and measured fashion.

For most organizations, GRC activities such as segregation of duties testing and records management are handled independently by different functions, lines of business, or regions. As a result, it is often very difficult for chief compliance officers, chief audit officers, and chief risk officers to gain a true enterprise understanding of the status of GRC programs and to be confident that risks are being correctly identified and handled.

Oracle Fusion GRC Intelligence delivers both out-of-the-box dashboards for controllers, auditors and business process owners, as well as hundreds of pre-delivered metrics so that business users can quickly construct their own reports for on-the-spot analysis. Built on Oracle's industry-leading business intelligence technology, Oracle Fusion GRC Intelligence offers organizations the best of both worlds -- pre-built role-tailored intelligence along with personalized reporting and diagnostics.

The release continues to build on Oracle's commitment to an open, comprehensive GRC applications suite that can be deployed in heterogeneous technology environments and is pre-integrated with Oracle enterprise applications, middleware, and database products. It is designed to help users comply with requirements related to Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, HIPAA, FDA, OSHA, EPA, Basel 2 and more.

"To effectively gain an understanding of the status and effectiveness of GRC programs, an organization must have a way of integrating risk and control information from different business functions and systems," said Oracle Group Vice President of Applications Strategy Chris Leone. "Oracle Fusion GRC Intelligence delivers such an information hub for GRC, enabling business users to identify key risks and respond in real time."
