FDA Clears New GlucosePilot Blood Glucose Meter System

(July 30, 2007)-- Aventir Biotech announced that it has received 510(k) clearance for its GlucosePilot Blood Glucose Monitoring System. The GlucosePilot offers an easy-to-use, cost effective and convenient way for patients and hospitals to manage diabetes. Research has shown consistent glucose monitoring; helps improve the control of glucose levels in patients as well as lower the risk of long-term complications of diabetes.
