SourceSentry Leverages with Rackspace to Power Software as a Service (SaaS) Security Compliance Solution

(Feb 20, 2007)--SourceSentry, provider of security risk and compliance management solutions, said that it has signed a solution partner alliance agreement with Rackspace Managed Hosting, which will provide the Software as a Service (SaaS) management and infrastructure services for its OneComply software solution delivered as an On Demand model.

This agreement strengthens SourceSentry’s offering as the leading Compliance on Demand platform giving customers an option to choose this instead of deploying the software within their corporate intranet. This partnership brings the skills and experience of both companies including: the fully-managed, SAS70 Type 2 Certified, highly-secure and reliable infrastructure, management and monitoring expertise provided by Rackspace, and the compliance technology supplied by SourceSentry.

“We have chosen to be a Rackspace solution partner because our customers deserve the most experienced and knowledgeable partners to help them with an On Demand Model for their compliance management programs,” said Sridhar Balaji, founder & CEO, SourceSentry.

“By hosting with Rackspace, we believe that SourceSentry can offer its customers a leading-edge Software-as-a-Service solution that provides the security risk and compliance management required to sustain and enable a repeatable process,” said Scott White, director of channel sales, Rackspace. “Delivering SourceSentry’s OneComply software backed by Rackspace’s infrastructure and management means that companies should realize reduced costs and implementation risks to their compliance programs.”

SourceSentry delivers a unique solution that combines security risk and compliance management in a single solution offering. The solution provides for a rich regulatory knowledge and content, gathers data, pin-points risk and non-compliance areas and finally provides an audit ready solution. Instead of having one-off approaches for each regulation such as Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, PCI, FFIEC, BSA/AML, NERC and data privacy laws, companies can take a cost effective and risk based approach with the solution.
