Voyence Announces Support for F5 BIG IP Application Delivery Controllers Running Version 9

(Feb 23, 2007)--Voyence, a pioneer in automated network change and configuration management (NCCM) solutions, has added support for F5’s BIG-IP devices running version 9 software — extending its lead in the breadth and depth of network devices under management. The new functionality delivers greater visibility for enterprise companies and service providers’ infrastructures to quickly identify misconfigured devices and remove potential security holes before unauthorized network access is attained.

The new F5 support enables a direct data exchange between F5’s BIG-IP devices running v9 and VoyenceControl, allowing IT professionals to automate the manual collection process of change and configuration instances. VoyenceControl also works with BIG-IP devices running v9 to analyze security weaknesses and comply with IT government mandates such as Sarbanes Oxley, PCI, HIPAA and others.

“Voyence remains committed to providing the industry with the broadest device coverage to help organizations prove adherence to government IT compliance mandates, subscribe to ITIL best practices and lay the foundation for CMDB deployments,” said Darren Orzechowski, vice president of marketing, Voyence. “The new device support extends our relationship with F5 while underscoring our ongoing commitment to offering the deepest device management.”
