Most organizations pay close attention to ensuring that their networks are secure from threats, but here is an example of where our government leads the way in also taking steps to ensure that their mission critical software is free of security vulnerabilities,” McNamee continued, “Ounce Labs innovative source code analysis tools will help the agency to reduce the potential for security breaches by making it possible to identify, prioritize and eliminate application vulnerabilities across their entire software portfolio.”

“We are proud to be chosen to further expand our role in securing the software that is critical to so many missions,” said Hugh Scandrett, President and CEO of Ounce Labs. “With attacks on applications of increasing concern and prevalence, both by individual attackers and as a tactic for nation states, the customer’s proactive focus on identifying and remediating serious application vulnerabilities reflects their leadership in ensuring the security and privacy of our nation’s most critical information assets.
