BioPassword Supports Rapid Growth of Online Applications With Easy-to-Use Security Software

(Sept 05, 2007)-- BioPassword announced the launch of the BioPassword Systems Integrator Partner Program, a technology integration program designed to meet the demands of integrators of Internet-based applications for the quick implementation of advanced strong authentication. The Systems Integrator Partner Program will offer BioPassword partners the ability to add the most cost-effective, easy-to-use Web-based strong authentication to Web portals or other customized Web applications being developed for their clients.

A February 2007 study by a risk management firm found that more than 75 percent of attacks from hackers occurred at the Web application level(1). These risks, combined with the requirement of strong authentication policies to comply with regulations -- such as PCI Data Security Standard, FFIEC, GLBA and HIPAA -- make it essential for systems integrators to offer strong authentication solutions to their customers. While most authentication solutions require time-consuming custom hardware and software integration, BioPassword offers a software-only multi-factor solution that can be implemented quickly and is scalable to millions of users.

The Systems Integrator Partner Program will provide members with a software development kit, including a lightweight .NET Web service, Flash-based client control and a sample reference application. The program also offers a highly discounted introductory price of $5,000, and 30 hours of remote support. As a result, partners can utilize a powerful authentication platform for enabling identity verification and controlling internal and external access across a broad landscape of Web applications.

Systems Integrator Partner Program is designed to support implementation of BioPassword's Web-based authentication solution, BioPassword® Internet Edition. Internet Edition is a multi-factor keystroke biometric solution that identifies users by analyzing a combination of standard logon credentials (user name and password) and keystroke biometrics (unique typing rhythm).
