Alert Logic Partners with FusionStorm to Deliver On-Demand IT Compliance and Security Solutions
(Dec 05, 2007)-- Alert Logic, provider of on-demand IT compliance and security solutions, announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with FusionStorm, a leading systems integrator and managed service provider. FusionStorm, VARBusiness VAR of the year for 2006/7, will become a member of Alert Logic’s Vanguard Partner Program and the two companies will join forces to deliver Alert Logic’s IT compliance and security solutions as a key component of FusionStorm’s remote and hosted managed service offerings.
FusionStorm chose to become a Vanguard Program member because Alert Logic’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery model makes it possible to rapidly deploy and easily manage the threat management, log management and IT compliance automation solutions. The SaaS platform enables FusionStorm to benefit from Alert Logic’s subscription pricing, which delivers recurring, incremental monthly revenue and higher margins. Also, FusionStorm offers incident response and remediation services as a part of a complete managed solution.
FusionStorm also picked Alert Logic for its security expertise and 24x7 ActiveWatch Monitoring service. As part of the service, expert security analysts in Alert Logic’s global Security Operations Center (SOC) actively monitor customer networks around-the-clock 365 days a year for threats. Alert Logic’s compliance expertise with regulations like the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) influenced their choice as well.

Under the partnership, FusionStorm’s national sales team will be trained on Alert Logic’s IT compliance and security solutions. Alert Logic’s solutions will then be marketed and sold to FusionStorm customers out of their 18 sales offices across the country.
