Pari Networks Introduces Network Change and Configuration Management Solution for SMBs

(Jan 28, 2008)-- Pari Networks introduced their network change and configuration management solution for small medium businesses, enterprises and managed service providers. Over a single platform, IT and security administrators now have an assessment and remediation tool for automated network, security, compliance and configuration management saving time and money.

The unique architecture enables more than 50 percent faster time-to-market supporting new devices, operating systems versions and security advisories. Pari Network addresses Life-Cycle Management with an inventory asset management tool including network device capability analysis and management which allows network administrators to easily address and plan for operational and capital expenditures. Additionally, the flexible managed security services delivery model enables brand new revenue opportunities for MSP's.

"Pari has developed a comprehensive solution that gives network administrators a crystal ball into their operations," said Kishore Kumar, chief executive officer and founder of Pari Networks. "Network administrators are striving to make their network devices comply with government, industry and internal regulations, while protecting devices from security threats. Now months before a new device or security device support advisory is issued our solutions can tell what device or platform is in need of support."

Pari Appliances offer policy, compliance and audit assessment mitigation through its applications. The solution offers customized templates for regulatory compliance including SOX, PCI, DHS, HIPAA and ISO/IEC 27002 as well as security guidelines such as ITIL, NSA, CiscoSAFE, COBIT, etc. Users can also create customized reports for corporate mandates, policies and remediation.

"Pari Networks' Paritra products provide more functionality than we previously had for auditing, verifying our change management process, and managing configurations on our network infrastructure," said Victor Hsiang, manager of security architecture at TransUnion. "For example, Paritra tracks manufacturers' device flaws, such as vulnerabilities or bugs discovered over time, and provides information about how to fix them. Pari's products and services simplify network device configuration and monitoring, and help us more easily enforce security policies."
