Crutchfield Chooses Tripwire Enterprise to Mmaintain Continuous Compliance across Multiple Regulatory Standards

(March 04, 2008)-- Crutchfield, an online retailer of consumer electronics, has selected and implemented Tripwire's conguration audit and control solution. Crutchfield chose Tripwire Enterprise to help it maintain continuous compliance across multiple regulatory standards, reducing the time and cost associated with audits, and to help it attract new business. Crutchfield chose Tripwire to ensure it will be able to achieve and maintain a known and trusted state across its infrastructure.

Tripwire automatically detects unauthorized, non-compliant change to enterprise-wide systems and virtual environments and immediately alerts IT staff so that exceptions to its change and release management policies can be immediately updated and investigated. This approach enables Crutchfield to better manage risk by providing continuous, automated compliance across its environment. Retailers, including Crutchfield, must comply with multiple regulatory standards, including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
