U.S Government Adds BDNA to Premier Software Procurement Vehicles

(Jan 09, 2008)-- BDNA Corporation announced that it has been selected by the U.S. Government for two prestigious software procurement vehicles: the Department of Defense Enterprise Software Initiative (DoD ESI) and the U.S. General Services Administration's (GSA) SmartBUY Blanket Purchase Agreement. BDNA's selection to these procurement vehicles follows recently received awards from multiple Federal Government agencies, including the Department of the Navy, GSA, and the Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

BDNA's continued success in the Federal Government led to the decisions by the Department of Defense and the General Services Administration to incorporate BDNA into the government-wide BPAs.

Government agencies have selected BDNA to gain comprehensive inventory information with low implementation risks. Utilizing BDNA Inventory, organizations collect detailed configuration information about all networked technology assets (hardware and software) in a secure, agent-less and non-invasive manner. This inventory data is then used to feed CMDBs, help desks, portfolio management, and enterprise architecture solutions, as well as to assist with FISMA compliance and IPv6 transition planning.
