LITS Partners with BigFix to Showcase New FDCC-Compliant Technology that Supports SCAP Capabilities

(Feb 03, 2008)-- Longview International Technology Solutions, announced its partnership with BigFix to offer a breakthrough software product that supports Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) capabilities.

SCAP is a framework that uses specific standards for monitoring desktop computers in response to the federal government's need for consistent, standards-based vulnerability management. The new BigFix technology has the capability to prove all federal and commercial systems meet Office of Management and Budget (OMB) mandates for Windows XP and Vista, and are FDCC-compliant to the binary level.

Speaking from LITS corporate headquarters in Bethesda, MD, LITS President/CEO, Ben Long, said, "We have implemented the BigFix solution at over 900 geographical worldwide locations and understand just how rapidly and cost effectively the BigFix product will help federal departments ensure FDCC and FISMA compliance. It's quick to deploy, can easily scale from 1,000 to 100,000s of Windows computers, and makes minimal demands on network bandwidth or managed endpoint processing bandwidth. Best of all, it delivers real-time visibility into endpoint FDCC compliance status and can proactively monitor for compliance deviations and automatically remediate computers to bring them back up to standard."
