FISMA NewsA Task Order of $15.4 Million Awarded to DRC to Support DHS Information Security Office's Compliance Division(December 17, 2009) - Dynamics Research Corporation, a leading provider of innovative management consulting, engineering, and technology solutions to federal and state governments, today announced that it was awarded a task order with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Information Security Office's Compliance Division with a value of $15.4 million, to provide information security compliance support services. The task order has a 10-month base period and three one-year option periods and was awarded through the DHS Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) Program. The new task order significantly expands the company's current work effort with the Office. DRC will continue to provide a wide array of information security services, including supporting the implementation of the annual DHS Information Security Performance Plan and ensuring compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). DRC is responsible for conducting Certification and Accreditation document reviews, technical reviews of critical controls, as well as reviews of information security programs within Department agencies. In addition, DRC personnel will maintain the DHS FISMA inventory, provide technical subject matter expertise to assist in developing and managing the implementation of remediation Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) in response to audit findings of weaknesses, and provide training to information security personnel across the Department.
