Fujitsu to Demonstrate Premier Scanning Solutions at Leading Government Practitioner Conference

(March 14, 2007)--Fujitsu Computer Products of America, said that it will showcase workgroup, departmental and production-level document imaging scanners at FOSE 2007, March 20-22 in Washington, D.C. Fujitsu will demonstrate the capabilities of several of its industry-leading scanners including the fi-5120C, fi-5530C, fi-5750C, fi-5900 and ScanSnap S500.

With new and evolving regulatory standards such as Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, the Patriot Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) driving stricter policies, government agencies are leveraging imaging technology more than ever in order to address the new standards that have been set. By delivering speed, image quality, advanced paper handling, as well as true ease of integration and compatibility, Fujitsu is helping companies and organizations address these on-going regulations. The annual gathering of government technology leaders and their industry partners will showcase high-level perspectives on the trends driving IT with the combined efforts of keynote presentations, floor displays and conference sessions.
