Gartner Positions TriGeo in the Leaders Quadrant for Security Information and Event Management

( May 15, 2007)--TriGeo Network Security, provider of security information and event management technology for mid-market enterprises, announced that Gartner Inc. has positioned TriGeo in the leaders quadrant in the Magic Quadrant for Security Information and Event Management(1), (SIEM), 1Q07 report.

According to Gartner analysts Mark Nicolett and Kelly Kavanagh, who authored the report, "The SIEM market is driven by customer needs to analyze security event data in real time (for threat management, primarily focused on network events) and to analyze and report on log data (for security policy compliance monitoring, primarily focused on host and application events)." The Magic Quadrant's evaluation criteria weighed the importance of ease of deployment combined with real-time analysis of host system, security device and network infrastructure log data in determining the market leaders.
