PricewaterhouseCoopers and LogicalApps Announce Strategic Alliance to Deliver Governance, Risk and Compliance Solutions

(July 25, 2007)-- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), and LogicalApps, the provider of embedded governance software solutions, announced a strategic alliance to enable enterprise clients to institutionalize governance policies and associated controls within their corporate enterprise applications. PwC and LogicalApps will provide software and critical implementation services to help clients achieve greater financial integrity, security and business process efficiencies.

Through this strategic alliance PwC will provide advisory services in line with its Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Operating ModelTM developed to help organizations optimize their approach to GRC and support an integrity driven performance strategy. The joint offerings will help increase confidence in the integrity of a company's financial systems and, by automating controls, will lower the cost of compliance and audit.

PwC and LogicalApps will provide solutions for the continuous monitoring of financial transactions with preventative and detective controls, helping ensure that established business processes and policies are being enforced, alerting management in real-time of deviations from these policies, and helping to improve the efficiency of the financial organization and business operations.
