Seminar Series on Insurers' Risks Associated with Non-compliance in the Extended Enterprise Announced
(Nov 25, 2007)-- Compliance Assurance Corporation will sponsor a series of seminars regarding Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) within the insurance industry.
The initial seminar, sponsored with BNA and Special Counsel, titled "Privacy and Security Obligations in an Insurance Firm's Extended Enterprise" will focus on operational risks associated with privacy and security compliance and will include a panel members from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Ernst & Young.
The unique forum will discuss the potential legal risks associated with non-compliance with privacy, security and data breach laws of insurance companies' extended enterprise. The audioconference is targeted towards general counsel within the insurance industry, law firms who represent insurance firms on regulatory matters and analysts who assess insurers, which includes rating agencies, auditors and market conduct examiners.
