Idea Integration and Micro Focus Extend Partnership to Deliver Application Portfolio Management Solutions

(Jan 24, 2008)-- Idea Integration, the IT consulting and interactive marketing unit of MPS Group, announced a partnership agreement with Micro Focus, a leader in enterprise application management and modernization solutions, to deliver application portfolio management (APM) solutions.

Idea Integration will work with Micro Focus to conduct system assessments and deliver application and platform modernization. These assessments will accelerate application understanding and promote strategic action by allowing customers to build an accurate, timely and detailed view of their entire application portfolio. Idea has been a Global System Integrator partner of Micro Focus for several years, and this partnership extension continues the advancement of legacy solution development between Idea and Micro Focus.

Application portfolio management is quickly being adopted as organizations look for ways to reduce costs from maintaining technology applications. APM helps companies build an application repository that serves as a control point for key metrics and assists with application compliance and governance for regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
