Kodak Chooses Voltage Security for Secure External Email Platform

(Feb 13, 2008)-- "Voltage is a key component in our overall risk management and security architecture which allows us to easily and quickly meet various contractual and regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA," said Bruce Jones, Global IT Security and Risk Manager, Eastman Kodak Company on choosing Voltage Security's Secure External Email Platform.

Voltage Security announced that award-winning Voltage SecureMail has been selected by Kodak  as the company's secure external email platform. Kodak selected Voltage because of the overall ease of use of the system and because of these additional factors:

-- Minimal end-user training.
-- Compatibility with multiple browsers.
-- Easily customizable for the Kodak environment.
-- Low administrative support costs.
-- Quick technical support responses.
-- Flexible in cost savings.

"Our business units regularly communicate with outside clients and some of the information shared is confidential," said Janel Egli, IS Systems and Business Analyst, Eastman Kodak Company. "We need a secure and easy way for our businesses and clients to send and receive email. With Voltage, we no longer need to maintain keys for our employees or hand-hold them on how to use the system. Voltage is the best application we found for secure email."
