Internet-based Electronic Medical Record Software CollaborateEMR Released
(Feb 19, 2008)-- CollaborateMD, provider of HIPAA Compliant Internet medical billing software for physician offices and medical billing services, today introduced CollaborateEMRTM, an Internet-based electronic medical record (EMR) software. The new service was developed in partnership with Sevocity, a division of Conceptual MindWorks, Inc., and will be integrated with CollaborateMD’s practice management solution.
“The integration of CollaborateEMR with CollaborateMD’s practice management software will allow physicians and other health care providers to choose a ‘one-stop shopping’ solution for their software needs rather than shopping numerous vendors for individual solutions,” said Douglas Kegler, president and founder, CollaborateMD. “CollaborateEMR has been seamlessly integrated with our practice management software and, for added convenience, both services are covered in one monthly fee.”
CollaborateMD worked with Conceptual MindWorks, Inc., to private label their EMR software, Sevocity, under the name CollaborateEMR. An Internet-based EMR solution, Sevocity eliminates the expensive upfront capital expenditures and ongoing maintenance costs associated with client/server offerings. Sevocity provides physician practices with easy to use, cost effective and powerful EMR solutions that allow physicians to improve clinical outcomes, increase revenue, and reduce risk.
CollaborateMD is allowing physician offices and medical billing services nationwide to become more efficient and more importantly, increase revenue and reduce costs. More than 2,800 providers across the country are receiving significant benefits from using an Internet based medical billing software system. Processing more than $1.3 billion in claims annually, CollaborateMD’s healthcare solution allows all entities in healthcare to collaborate on improving efficiency and reducing costs.
