Messaging Architects Announces a More Efficient and Cost-Effective Way to Mitigate Email Risks with New Release of M+Guardian

(May 29, 2008)-- Messaging Architects, the experts in email lifecycle management and compliance, announced new support for the VMWare platform with the 2008.2 release of M+Guardian. Organizations can now deploy M+Guardian either as a hardware or a virtual appliance to manage email risks more efficiently and cost-effectively.

M+Guardian filters inbound and outbound emails for security threats, such as malware, confidential data leakage, and offensive or inappropriate content, and blocks them based on an organization's email policies and the roles and responsibilities of individuals. This helps organizations to comply with regulations, such HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and ensure business continuity.

M+Guardian 2008.2 also features a new deployment wizard, enabling organizations to be up and running in less than half an hour of installing the appliance.

M+Guardian 2008.2 supports Novell GroupWise, Microsoft Exchange, and Lotus Notes. It is field-tested daily in high-volume environments, and currently processes over 6.5 million messages a day for more than 50,000 users.
