A Collaboration to Deliver Comprehensive HIPAA 5010 Certification Service Announced by Data Interchange Standards Association

(June 2, 2009) - The Data Interchange Standards Association (DISA), eEmergence, Inc. and Foresight Corporation announced DISAcert(SM), an online data certification service for health care representatives preparing for the transition to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X12 version 5010 electronic transaction standards. DISAcert is a fully automated, scenario-based online testing service to ensure compliance with new HIPAA 5010 transaction standards which will go into effect January 1, 2012. The turnkey program allows users simply to upload test files, while DISAcert's intelligent scenario detection manager identifies the elements being tested, provides actionable results files, and tracks progress with detailed scorecards.
