Medianet Continues Deloitte Certification for Enhanced Security Standards

(Nov 16, 2007) -- Medianet Innovations said that it has engaged Deloitte & Touche to perform its second security review and further certify the company’s security standards. The comprehensive, independent review will ensure Medianet’s compliance with leading IT security guidelines and standards including the International Organization for Standardization’s ISO 17799 and the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP).

Medianet’s collaborative communication solutions provide on-line meeting capabilities with multi-party voice, video, secure data sharing, instant messaging and Web conferencing exclusively for the financial industry. All communications are recorded and stored, creating an audit trail of all customer and internal communications to meet evolving compliance requirements and avoid any fines imposed on financial institutions for insufficient data security and breaches. Medianet applications utilize digital certificates and encryption routines to ensure the integrity of their software meets the strict requirements for financial institutions or any regulated industry.
