Leading Security Management & Awareness Company Neupart Announces Expansion of North American Operations

(June 11, 2007)-- Neupart A/S, an industry leading information security risk management and awareness company, today announced the expansion of North American operations and the formation of Neupart Inc., based in the Seattle, Washington metropolitan area.

The business expansion is being fueled by a growing market for security policy automation, standardization and compliance management tools, as well as by an increasing customer demand for security awareness, notification and education solutions that can be customized to meet client requirements. Neupart's expansion coincides with the recruitment of several industry experts and leaders to the Neupart team in the U.S.

"As Neupart enters its sixth year of operations, we are seeing an increasing demand for tools like our SecureAware product family to manage corporate security policies and regulatory compliance," said Lars Neupart, CEO of Neupart A/S. "As organizations gain experience with the demands of multiple regulations asking for similar compliance requirements, the benefits of software that can streamline reporting and support repeatable processes becomes obvious. We are extremely pleased with the high quality individuals we have added to our U.S. team and we expect to add more."

Neupart Inc. is being led by industry veteran Jim Reavis, who recently held the post of Executive Director with the Information Systems Security Association, Inc. (ISSA), the world's largest not-for-profit association of information security professionals.

"I am very enthusiastic about the opportunities for SecureAware in the market. The regulatory burden in large organizations can be overwhelming, and SecureAware can help streamline the compliance workload and make sure employees understand and follow corporate policies. At the same time, we feel that the small and medium companies are completely underserved by today's policy and compliance solution providers, and we will be moving aggressively to provide this market with 'Fortune 500® quality' solutions at affordable prices," Reavis said.

Neupart has also augmented its management team with an advisory board of industry experts. Among the members include Paul Kurtz, COO of Good Harbor Consulting, LLC, Pamela Fusco, former EVP at CitiGroup Global Information Security and Karen Worstell, principal with the W Risk Group, LLC. According to Kurtz, a key attraction of Neupart to him was the integral foundation that the ISO 27001 standard provides within the SecureAware product family and the company itself. "I believe that information security compliance by necessity will need to be more strongly aligned with standards, much like the accounting world adopted GAAP and the quality industry adopted ISO 9000.", said Kurtz, "ISO 27001 has great promise to be the best practices standard used by governments, regulatory bodies and supply chains around the world to prove due diligence and achieve compliance."
