OSHA NewsMetaPower International Develops New Software Application Package to Enhance Industrial Plant Safety(Nov 26, 2008)-- MetaPower International,has announced that the Company is developing a plant safety product. The plant safety product is a suite of management software ware applications and accompanying services designed to provide a complete solution encompassing plant processes and personnel safety. The program will aid MetaPower clients to create safer working environments while increasing productivity. The product is designed to assist companies to obtain the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program certification. The plant safety product software will provide a way for plant operators to record, track and report all safety processes operating in the plant. The data collected through this product will provide plant operators the ability to identify problems, determine causes and establish the necessary changes to correct the problems. The plant safety product also assesses the impact of those changes, establishes actions to implement the changes and tracks the actions to closure. "We have been moving towards a comprehensive plant offering based on our UCODA Business Process Management Technology for several months now. We are well on our way to implementing a suite of user friendly features for the UCoDA technology. More recently, we have started the process of upgrading our application suite to directly address the VPP Program requirements. We are excited about the product and believe it fills a significant need in this market place. It will allow plant managers to not only improve the day-to-day safety of their work force, but it will pay for itself through improved plant production," stated Ken Allen, CEO of MetaPower International, Inc. Recently, the Company announced that it was featured in an interview on www.CEONEWS.Tv. MetaPower International discussed a variety of topics during the interview, including the Company's third quarter financial filings. The Company reported YTD earnings per share of $0.09 cents for the three quarters ending October 31, 2008. The EPS was calculated using the earnings (EBITDA) for the first three quarters of 2008 divided by the issued common shares of MTPR on October 31, 2008.
