National SHARP Recognition Received by P&G Steel Products from OSHA

(June 4, 2009) - An incorporated supplier of progressive, transfer and deep draw metal stampings to 1000 ton, P&G Steel Products Company, announces that the company was recently awarded a national Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) honor by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). The SHARP program recognizes small businesses that operate an exemplary safety and health management system. The OSHA recognition singles out participants such as P&G among their business peers as a model for work site safety and health.

Brian Riemer, Sr. Manager of Engineering and Quality says “We are very proud of our employees and the effort put forth to ensure a common objective of efficiency and workplace safety.” Upon receiving SHARP recognition, recipients are exempt from programmed OSHA inspections for a specified period of time. They are then invited to renew their exempt status through a full service, comprehensive on-site visit by OSHA representatives to ensure the company's exemplary status.

Founded in 1948, P&G Steel Products is a premier global supplier of metal stampings to 1000 ton, plastic injection molded parts, CNC production machining and welded assemblies. P&G serves a variety of industries including automotive, appliance, HVAC, recreational vehicle and heavy truck.
