Raident Technology Announces Expanded Sarbanes-Oxley End of Life Security Solutions
(Oct 10,2007)-- Raident Technology was founded to provide high value solutions for IT asset recovery and environmental e-Waste services to Global Fortune 1000 corporations, government agencies, municipalities, educational systems and organizations around the world. Raident’s senior management team has extensive knowledge of the industry and in growing successful international corporations. Raident Technology is committed to providing the finest service and solutions available.
The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, sponsored by Sen. Paul S. Sarbanes and Rep. Michael Oxley and signed by President Bush, was created to improve on the numerous corporate accounting failures and inaccurate financial reports. Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 requires public companies to report on the scope and adequacy of their internal control structure and procedures for financial reporting plus periodically evaluate the effectiveness of these controls.
To fully comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley act; corporations must document and record the path of their data. When a corporation undergoes an upgrade to newer IT, computer and other electronic equipment; they are faced with enormous amounts of proprietary data and obsolete excess assets that will need to be securely processed to eliminate liability.
With a focus on Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404; Raident Technology provides fully-auditable, customized solutions for their clients that meet and exceed current regulatory standards.
Unlike other traditional IT vendors or eWaste recyclers, Raident Technology created an internally developed proprietary software suite termed “eAudit”. The main benefits of the eAudit system are:
* A secure Global web-based proprietary technology promoting a one-stop solution for meeting their client’s Security, Logistics, Environmental and Regulatory requirements.
* Mobile data-collection units providing real-time communication and information access into the Raident eAudit system
* Transparent and fully accountable electronic tracking system
* Real-time web based logistics tracking with the use of a GPS transmitter for security sensitive equipment
* Up-to-date equipment processing status as material is processed for remarketing or sensitive data destruction and recycling
* Availability of final settlement reports, including Certificates of Destruction and Certificates of Recycling, 24/7
* Availability of complete client records and transaction history, 24/7
Albert Lozano, President, CEO and co-founder of Raident, who has spent his entire career in the electronics recovery industry, commented on Raident’s position in the marketplace and its benefit to their clients, “The Raident solution is designed to maximize ROI on all excess assets and recycle all other material with a process that follows all environmental guidelines; We incorporate our process so it blends in seamlessly to our client’s operations.
