SBA Communications Selects Enzo Audit to Address SOX Compliance
(Nov 12, 2007)-- Pyn Logic announced that SBA Communications, one of the largest publicly traded Telecommunications company in the United States, has selected Pyn Logic's database security solution, Enzo Audit, to audit their production databases to address SOX compliance.
The Enzo Audit platform is a security technology that audits SQL Server database activity and offers advanced alerting and extensibility.
SBA Communications needed to audit its production databases from potential misuse of powerful administrator accounts to satisfy SOX controls as required by its auditors. In addition SBA Communications needed a solution that could be implemented quickly without spending weeks of configuration.
"While the general tendency with compliance initiatives is to capture as much information as needed, the ability to implement precise database controls and audit only relevant database activity is the key to a successful audit." said Herve Roggero, Managing Partner of Pyn Logic LLC.
Jorge Grau, CIO of SBA Communications agrees. "Enzo Audit allowed us to implement database auditing quickly and efficiently. In addition, Enzo Audit gave us the ability to trace unusual database activity that our SOX Auditors were looking for."
Pyn Logic's technology offers the ability to audit multiple SQL Servers at a very granular level by using customizable Regular Expressions, providing the flexibility corporations need to implement precise auditing. With its extensible alerting capabilities and documented .NET API, Enzo Audit offers the tools necessary for organizations to tailor their auditing needs rapidly.
