Saint Joseph’s Hospital Implements the Compliance 360 solution to Efficiently Track Compliance Projects
(Nov 28, 2007)-- Compliance 360, provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management software, today announced that one of the top specialty-referral hospitals in the southeast, Saint Joseph’s Hospital, has successfully implemented the Compliance 360 solution to enhance accountability, efficiently track compliance projects, and report on controls within their Revenue Cycle.
In late 2006, Saint Joseph’s Hospital identified a requirement to establish more comprehensive controls and enhance visibility around its Revenue Cycle operations. Compliance 360 was selected as Saint Joseph’s partner to address this need due to its proven track record in the health-care market and the enterprise-wide capabilities of its product offering. With the offering successfully in use following a three month implementation effort, Saint Joseph’s Hospital can now comprehensively demonstrate completion of critical compliance activities, document communication throughout the organization, and effectively conduct real-time reporting on compliance status.
Compliance 360 offers off-site protection of our compliance activities which minimizes any chance of external threats jeopardizing the organization’s ability to show compliance history and current status. Additionally, Compliance 360 has greatly enhanced our PEPPER Reporting.
The Revenue Cycle Department has realized particular benefits from four key Compliance 360 capabilities: Project Management, Surveys, Meetings Management, and Enterprise Risk Management. Project Management enhances the department’s ability to focus key personnel to proactively highlight and properly address potential compliance shortfalls. The Survey’s unique capabilities ensure accurate billing; detailed questionnaires help ensure critical documentation is properly completed. The Meetings Management functionality allows the Revenue Cycle Department to organize and electronically document key meetings, attendees, and outcomes to ensure this information is available for future reference and provide better accountability.
