RGP Unveils New Version of Its Content Management and Compliance Software

(Dec 11, 2007)-- Resources Global Professionals ("Resources"), the operating subsidiary of Resources Connection, Inc., has launched policyIQ 6.0, the second generation of its content management and compliance software and the most significant upgrade to the software since its 2002 inception.

policyIQ is used to manage policies and procedures, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, contract management, and internal audit requirements, and takes advantage of the newest Web 2.0 programming capabilities to offer clients a desktop-like user experience. The new version of policyIQ substantially improves the workflow capabilities through group check-in and checkout capabilities; provides customizable roles; and enables all users to have advanced search capabilities. The addition of the software's first forms management features takes policyIQ beyond its content management roots.

"policyIQ has always provided us with a unique value-add to the professional services that we offer our clients," said Rocco Tarasi, national director for policyIQ at Resources Global Professionals. "With our new forms management capabilities, this version now fills many additional needs for our clients, including the ability to automate many of their manual controls and processes."

"Our strategy of providing affordable, easy-to-use, content management software has allowed firms to enjoy functionality that was previously reserved for only the largest companies. With policyIQ's new capabilities, we take that same strategy to the world of business process automation," said Donald B. Murray, chief executive officer of Resources Global Professionals.

Over 200 companies representing the energy, consumer, technology, and manufacturing industries use policyIQ software to document, communicate, manage, and report on their business content, including policies, procedures, risks, controls, testing, and issue tracking. Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is one of policyIQ's most widely used functions for public companies.

"policyIQ has been a great tool for us," said Judy Bedar, director of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for Expedia, Inc., the global travel website company. Expedia has been using policyIQ for all its documentation and certification around Sarbanes-Oxley since August 2006. Ms. Bedar said she is looking forward to version 6.0 so that more Expedia employees can be assigned as part of a group to use the software, helping achieve an even easier internal approval process.
