O1 Communications Completes SAS 70 Type II Certification

The SAS 70 Type II report indicates that control and procedural objectives specified by o1 Communications have been independently reviewed, verified and tested to validate operating effectiveness. The audits not only validate o1 Communications' best practice standards, they also allow clients to save significant time and money. "Our ability to readily provide this information means clients do not need to initiate their own audit of o1 Communications' controls and safeguards, and are able to share the Auditor's Report with their auditors," says Max Seely, Senior Vice President of o1 Communications.

Today, it is more important than ever for service providers like o1 Communications to demonstrate that they have adequate controls and safeguards in place when hosting or processing data belonging to their customers. Just as crucial, o1 Communications must be able to prove their ability to manage client data in a secure and consistent manner and in compliance with the highest industry standards, including those of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX). For that reason, it is no surprise that o1 Communications has taken the necessary steps to achieve compliance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS).
