DoubleCheck Unveils New Audit Module for their GRC&T Enterprise Software

(Jan 19,2008)-- DoubleCheck, provider of enterprise level governance, risk, compliance and testing (GRC&T) solution software, has developed a new Audit Module to expand and enhance the company’s GRC&T Enterprise Solution.

This new Mudit module seamlessly integrates into the core DoubleCheck GRC&T solution, offering the Internal Audit department access and visibility to the same documentation, workflow, risk universe, and testing data that is used for external compliance monitoring.

“Automating the Internal Audit function on the same software platform being used for managing the enterprise’s Governance, Risk, Compliance and Testing processes brings greater efficiency, cross-functional cooperation and ROI to any organization in any industry”, said Joseph Cincotta, CEO of DoubleCheck. “With the implementation of the new AS5 guidance regarding increased reliance on third party and corporate testing, it has become more important than ever for the Internal Audit department to have a tool that not only can expedite their own activities, but interfaces with the rest of the organization’s database for consistency,” he added. AS5 refers to the audit of internal controls over financial reporting that is integrated with an audit of financial statements, an extension of the original provisions of Sarbanes-Oxley legislation.
