RedHawk Launches New Ethics Training and Communication Web Site
(March 13, 2008)-- RedHawk Communications, announced the online launch of their flagship ethics communication and awareness solution, the Ethics Communication CoachSM (ECC), as a new subscription-based web site.
The only enterprise-wide ethics communication and awareness solution of its kind, RedHawk created the ECC in 1999 to help organizations create ethical culture. The product gained much of its popularity with ethics professionals after the November 2004 revised U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines were announced, requiring organizations to promote a “culture that encourages a commitment to compliance.” The ECC was first packaged in a three-ring binder, and in 2006 was transitioned into an interactive CD format. Now, members from anywhere in the world with Internet access can view the ethics-related content online and customize it on-demand for their own organization’s specific branding requirements at www.ECCmember.com.
Updated quarterly, the ECC helps organizations create an effective ethics training program through access to ready-to-customize tools, created by experts, specifically for a corporate Ethics Office’s use. The tools are grouped into multiple categories that include: newsletter articles, posters, training handouts, mini-training sessions, case studies, and cartoons.
Covering key Code of Conduct training topics, such as Conflicts of Interest, Confidential Information, and Preventing Harassment, the ECC can help organizations launch and sustain a new communication program or be integrated into any existing ethics communication program already in place. The ECC allows members to quickly and easily read ethics-related content online, download PDF’s, print content for future reference, share content, and download ethics tools for their own editing and customization (i.e. company logo, colors, and contact information).
RedHawk’s ECC also provides coaching for ethics professionals. There are quarterly group ethics coaching sessions with guest speakers, strategy MP3 sessions by ethics experts, “Ethics Alerts” news sent via email, and a communication plan strategy template.
“What makes the ECC so popular with ethics professionals is that it allows for true client customization. Our philosophy is “the more relevant the content, the more effective the program.” Now that the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines require organizations to promote a culture with a commitment to compliance, finding ways to increase the effectiveness of corporate ethics programs has become a top priority for organizations worldwide,” said Mike Levine, CEO of RedHawk. “Since the ECC can be integrated into any ethics awareness program already in place, our clients are able to quickly and easily create a Tone at the Top that matches their specific company culture. The best part is that our clients do not need to spend time doing research, making phone calls, and paying consulting fees – we’ve done all the work for them.”
RedHawk’s proven ethics communication and training methodology engages employees, changes behavior, creates ethical culture, and helps companies meet Sarbanes-Oxley and U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines requirements
