MODULO SHOWS COMPLIANCE AUTOMATION WITH PCI DSS AT ETA 2008 ANNUAL MEETING & EXPO IN LAS VEGAS

The industry leader will show how Modulo Risk Manager
helped Visanet merchants comply with PCI DSS

Modulo, the global leader in IT governance, risk and compliance management, member of the PCI Security Vendor Alliance and a certified Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) by the PCI Security Standards Council, will show how companies can reduce audit silos, monitor policies and automate projects at the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) 2008 Annual Meeting & Expo. Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas will be hosting this event from April 15th to April 17th.
PCI DSS is a regulation for companies who perform credit card transactions. Modulo solutions help organizations verify compliance with PCI DSS by effectively addressing the 12 key PCI requirements and the associated underlying, critical and supporting controls.  This is especially beneficial for large organizations who are attempting to consolidate information gathered from several locations and need to support multiple assessments simultaneously.
Modulo will showcase its experience with Visanet, Visa’s global payment processing network, who selected Modulo Risk Manager™ to have 70% per cent of its merchants in Brazil comply with the PCI DSS by the end of this year. The rate should reach 100 percent in December 2009, when the period expires for all those who process credit cards adopt the 12 electronic payment security requirements required by PCI DSS. The new standard is an industry initiative to reduce fraud and make credit card transactions more secure.
The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) 2008 Annual Meeting & Expo is considered the premier event in the payment processing industry.  Every year, more than 3,000 attendees take part in activities at and around the Annual Meeting, including educational programs, the Expo and social events.
The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) is an international trade association representing companies who offer electronic transaction processing products and services. The purpose of the ETA is to influence, monitor and help shape the merchant acquiring industry by providing leadership through education, advocacy and the exchange of information. ETA's membership spans the breadth of the payments industry, from financial institutions to transaction processors to independent sales organizations (ISOs) to equipment suppliers. More than 500 companies worldwide are members of ETA. \
