First Book in Sarbanes-Oxley Body of Knowledge (SOXBoK™) Series
(Nov 20, 2008)-- SOX Institute announced the publication of the first book in its Sarbanes-Oxley Body of Knowledge (SOXBoK) series, "The Sarbanes-Oxley Act: An Introduction" (Van Haren Publishing, ISBN 9087530838).
"SOXBoK is the culmination of nearly three years of work by a dedicated team of thought leaders and experts in the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002," said Sanjay Anand, Chairperson of The SOX Institute (www.grcg.com). "We consider it our flagship publication, and are thrilled that the book is receiving accolades from practitioners."
Although large, publicly traded companies are required to comply with the SOX Act, many smaller public companies, private companies, and non-profit organizations are opting to comply in order to reinforce stakeholder confidence.
