The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) held a seminar on risk management for its senior bankers and supervision officials.The Reputation and Strategic Risk Management seminar was aimed at promoting a greater understanding of various risks faced by banks.It provided an insight into two specific risk types - reputation risk and strategic risk - and highlighted the need for integrating these risks in the enterprise-wide risk management systems in banks. CBB retail banking supervision director Yousif Hassan welcomed the participants and emphasised the importance of enhancing understanding of the two risks.
