Boston Scientific Gets FDA Nod Of Cardiac Acuity Spiral Lead

Medical device maker Boston Scientific Corp revealed U.S Food and Drug Administration or FDA approval of its Acuity Spiral left ventricular lead for use with cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemakers. The Acuity Spiral lead is Natick, Massachusetts-based Boston Scientific's fifth generation left ventricular lead and second in the Acuity family of left ventricular leads. The lead is designed for use with heart failure devices, such as the Cognis CRT-D.
