www.guardian.co.uk

U.S. health regulators have approved Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc's Rapaflo treatment for urination problems -- a condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), the company said on Wednesday. The drug, known chemically as silodosin, is an alpha blocker that is approved to treat signs and symptoms of BPH, such as decreased urine flow, more frequent urination and nocturia, a sleep-disrupting need to urinate in the night.
