UC's Henney may be offered top FDA job

University of Cincinnati Professor Dr. Jane Henney is being considered for the Food and Drug Administration's top post by the incoming Obama administration, sources told Bloomberg News.Henney, who had served as commissioner of the regulatory agency from 1998 to 2001, declined comment, according to the story.She was serving as senior scholar in residence at the Association of Academic Health Centers when she was tapped in April 2003 as senior vice president and provost for health affairs at the UC College of Medicine.
