Leading pro-life advocates are not happy that incoming president Barack Obama is considering Jane Henney to become the next head of the Food and Drug Administration. Henney is a former FDA chief who oversaw the approval of the dangerous RU 486 abortion drug during the end of the Clinton administration.Obama is considering appointing the University of Cincinnati professor to a second stint leading the agency.The possible appointment is not going over well with Wendy Wright, the president of Concerned Women for America, who tells LifeNews.com that it would be a disaster for women.“Under Jane Henney’s previous leadership, the FDA gave in completely to abortion groups’ demands about RU 486," she said.
