Gwava launches Retain for BlackBerry Enterprise Server

Security software developer Gwava has released an auditing and archiving solution for BlackBerry smartphone, the Retain for BlackBerry Enterprise Server. It allows enterprises to keep a track of text messages and phone calls made through BlackBerry device without any client software.

According to the company, the software can be managed completely from the back end and will allow enterprises to comply with regulations like Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Sarbanes Oxley, which make it necessary for them to keep a record of employee communications.
