Few IT Items Included in HHS' Semi-Annual Regulatory Agenda
www.ihealthbeat.org HHS' semi-annual regulatory agenda, published Monday in the Federal Register, has fewer IT-related actions than were listed last year, Health Data Management reports. A year ago, HHS' regulatory agenda identified at least 12 actions related to IT that it planned to take. However, in late 2007, the department included just three IT actions in its regulatory agenda, and those three items remain on this year's regulatory agenda with slightly extended expected deadlines.
According to Health Data Management, the 62 items included in the most recent regulatory agenda give an idea of what issues are getting attention in HHS.
