Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah will be introducing an insurance plan in June that rewards healthy behavior with money for medical expenses. Called Regence Activate, the self-managed group plan will provide members up to $600 a year if they participate in a variety of activities, including going to the gym, getting an annual flu shot or attending a cooking class. The money can then be applied to out-of-pocket medical expenses including deductibles and coinsurance.
