www.ihealthbeat.org

Fifty-four percent of health IT professionals said that HIPAA's privacy and security safeguards are strong enough, according to a new survey by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. Thirty-four percent of respondents said HIPAA's privacy and security protections were not strong enough, and 12% said they did not know.
