American Ecology waste sites exceed OSHA requirements

All four of Boise-based American Ecology's waste disposal sites have been certified as Voluntary Protection Program sites by state agencies in Washington, Idaho, Texas and Nevada.

"Safety is a core value at American Ecology," Stephen Romano, president and CEO, said in a statement. "We intend to maintain this recognition for all of our operations through a continuing commitment to safety at all levels of our organization."
