www.bizjournals.com

Central New Mexico Community College is planning a free safety seminar that will provide a refresher on OSHA requirements and will give business owners an introduction to the instructors involved in the school's summer Safety Academy.

The seminar will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at the Workforce Training Center, at 5600 Eagle Rock Ave. NE in Albuquerque. It will feature a representative from the New Mexico OSHA (federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration) bureau, who will provide tips on the bureau's top 10 citations and how to avoid or prevent them. The three instructors offering courses in the Safety Academy will present a 90-minute version of the four-hour OSHA Basics course.
