OSHA Renews Construction Safety Pact with Metro Denver HBA

OSHA and the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver have renewed their Home Safe Colorado partnership, a safety and health partnership that has been in effect since 1998--the first year OSHA began forming strategic partnerships. More than 25 residential homebuilders, together employing more than 1,600 employees, participate in the program, which OSHA says has seen injury and illness rates up to 50 percent lower than the national industry average.
