Most companies have to deal with wireless in one form or another, or they will very soon. From BlackBerries to laptops, IT departments are supporting a range of wireless gear that helps their workers stay connected and improves productivity. What kinds of devices do users have? Everything from wireless laptops to global
positioning systems. In a recent survey of subscribers to Computerworld and attendees of Computerworld’s 2005 Mobile and Wireless Conference, respondents said wireless laptops are used by 92% of their end users and more than half also have mobile phones, PDAs and/or BlackBerries.
