Data Auditing and Protection (DAP) is a new form of data protection that involves detailed and intelligent monitoring of how stored enterprise data is being accessed. DAP solves two major problems associated with stored critical data – lack of visibility into how data is accessed and data theft from the data center. In this white paper, we introduce DAP and describe its key drivers and benefits. DAP can automate and simplify data logging, as well as alert and protect data servers from data breaches.
